roommates to sisters!

Well it is fabulous Tuesday… “Another great day at BYU- Idaho!” This last weekend my roommates and I decided to take a weekend trip to Salt Lake City. Well let me share with you the adventure we had! It started with us all being friendly roommates and ending in being fighting sisters :)

We left Friday after I got out of class and Larissa off work. We packed up all the stuff put it all in the trunk of my car and we were OFF!!!!! Me as the driver, Janae as my right had “women”, and Autumn, Chloe, and Larissa all piled in the back seat! We blasted the music and headed out to Utah! When we got into Utah we decided we would stop in Brigham City for some Sonic. We do not have a Sonic in Rexburg so we were all kind of craving that! Lol after we ate we decided we should use the bathroom before we hit the road again. It was a one person bathroom so Janae went first. We all decided we would bang on the door and jiggle the handle when she was in there. So, we did! Janae was yelling at us and burping like a man! So we finally stopped and sat down at a table to wait for her to come out. Well this worker went over to the bathroom door and tried to open the door and then knocked on it. Right when she did this Janae came out of the bathroom and yelled, “BOO!” to her because she thought it was us again.  She was super embarrassed! We then told her that who was knocking on the door the whole time! She TOTALLY believed us! She was then SUPER embarrassed! She told us how she was yelling at the person that was knocking on the door, all we did was laugh, now if you know Janae, you know how hard it is to trick her! We had to keep it going! When we finally got back on the road we decided to play the story game. That’s the game when each person says one word to make a story. Here is the story, “Once” “upon” “a” “time” “there” “were” “some” “boys” “CHLOE! NO, YOU ARE SO DUMB! girls” hahaha “they” “went” “to” “Sonic” “they” “then” “used” “the” “bathroom” “Janae” “THOUGHT” “a” “worker” “was” “knocking” “on” “the” “door.” “when” “really” “it” “was” “her” “ROOMMATES!!!!!!!” you should have seen the confused look on Janae’s face! After finally making it through the crazy traffic in Salt Lake we finally made it to the Provo area where we were staying. We stayed at Autumn’s aunt and uncles home. Which was freakn gorgeous! As soon as we got there, Janae and Chloe broke into a little argument about sharing a bed… they have a hard getting along sometimes! Finally when they stopped fighting we all went to bed, we were ready for a fun morning in Salt Lake the next day!

Janae, Larissa, Chloe, Autumn, and Me!

The next morning I woke up at like 8:15, everyone was still asleep so I decided just to stay in bed. At about 8:30, the bedroom door opens and it is Autumn and Larissa, they decided they were going to “jump” in the bed that Janae and Chloe were sleeping in… BAD IDEA!!!!!! The next thing I know Janae is freaking out and Larissa is on the floor next to me scared for he life! Janae jumped out of bed landed into a ninja like stance ready to fight for her life! She then yells GET OUT DON’T TOUCH ME! Lol Give Janae some credit, she was half a sleep! Great way to start the morning! When we were already we got back into my car to head to Salt Lake. We first went to the farmers market there in the park. It was really fun! We saw so many cute crafts and tried some great food! We got strawberry and raspberry lemonade! YUM! After walking around soaking in the “hippie” way of life, we went to temple square. As soon as we got there this crazy guy came up to us and said, “Do you hear that?” we all had a blank stare on our face and said, “whaattt!?” He then said again with his hand to his ear listening up, “Do you hear that?” We all said “no, what is it?” he said, “That’s God speaking to you! When was the last time you poured your heart out to Christ?” kind of shocked, not trying to laugh because he is talking pretty loud to us about this, we say, “ummm this morning! We all prayed together over our breakfast.” “Well when was the last time you seriously listened to what he was saying to you!?” *blank stares* He then sees us holding our phones and cameras he then says, “you need to put those damn things away and listen! *points up* Please excuse my language. But you need to listen!” all of us about to die laughing we said ok and walked away! Lol now stop for a minute… do you hear that?? Pahahahaha just kidding! :) after walking around temple square taking pictures and seeing 50 bilion brides! We decided to go to the mall. After shopping, we needed to find the car… who knew finding my car would be so hard! We parked in a parking garage across from the mall, we thought it would be faster if went to the parking garage under the mall and walked out of that to the one across the street… BAD IDEA!!!! We looked like total country girls never been to the city.. who knew that the parking garage comes out into the middle of the street! Luckily we didn’t walk all the way out into the busy streets and realized it half way there though when cars were coming at us! Oh the things you learn when you are in the city! When we finally got out of the parking garage, we decided to go find the pianos around salt lake by foot, NOT car. Because one, they were all in walking distance, and two because I hate driving in busy crazy areas! so we looked up the pianos on the gps system on the phones… I HATE GPS ON PHONES!!!!! We would walk down one street think we were going the wrong way, walk back up that street and then find out we were going the right way so we would have to walk back down that street… oh ya. It was awesome! By this point we were freakn hot, dehydrated… and starting to get tired of each other! We found the pianos though! We then got back to my car, ate ice cream and drove back to Provo for a pizza party at Autumn’s aunts home. After some delicious pizza and learning how we should “listen to our bodies” when it comes to eating, we watched Phantom of the Opera in the Theater Room… surround sound baby!!!! Talk about loving the music from that show even more! We then went to bed for some much needed sleep… because five girls being together for 24 hours… well think about one girls drama then multiplying it by 500! But sleep solves everything… right? Think again!

Sunday morning we left to come back to Rexburg, well... it was intense talking all the way home! Lol we all love each other, but we all agree that we could never do a road trip together again! Like I said at the beginning, the trip started with friendly roommates, and ended in fighting sisters… but just like you know in a family, fighting sisters only mean that they love each other! :) that’s right, we are no longer roommates we are all sisters, who I love very much!

MR. POOPY PANTS

Sorry it has been a week since I have written! I have been trying to decide what to write about…. After talking to my roommate and dying laughing at our self… I decided I would write about this EXTREMELY embarrassing story! Well, its not embarrassing at all… but the fact that I am writing this story on a blog where ANYONE can read it… that makes it embarrassing! So here it goes… you will forever laugh at me and my roommate Janae.

Every Thursday I go to zumba with my best friends, Janae and Lucy. Before we went, Janae and I could not decide on what to eat for dinner. We then remembered that we had a coupon for; a grilled cheese sandwich, bag of chips, pop, and ice cream for only 5 dollars at this restaurant! So at 6:30 we went to go eat… zumba starts at 7. So we ate super fast… and a lot of dairy! While we ate, Janae kept telling me that we were going to get sick at zumba but I just kept saying “what ever we won’t!!!!!” After we ate I did not feel that great and Janae didn’t either, but what ever. Lucy came over and we all left to go to zumba. When we got there we started to do the dances… I FELT TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Janae kept telling me she felt super sick. Janae and I kept trying to dance, but we felt DISGUSTING! Lucy just kept laughing at us because 1. We were about to get sick and 2. She is pregnant and she was able to dance to all the things but Janae and I were about on the ground dying! By the third song I went over to Janae and whispered… “I do not feel good!” Janae whispered back, “I feel like I am going to get sick!” Then I said something I never thought I would tell someone… but Janae and I are close enough, so I decided I would tell her the truth. I then whispered, “I feel like I am going to poop my pants!” Janae then said, “ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!” this was the the breaking point, we could not stop laughing! I don't know why we didn't leave, but we danced the rest of the class, we had like 40 minutes left of pure torture! When it ended, we finally got home and Janae and I RAN to the bathroom! (luckly we have two of those!) well… I was sitting in there and looked over… NO TOILET PAPER!!!!!!! So I have to yell… “Janae……”, “yes….” She said. “ummm, there is no toilet paper in here!” both of us start to die laughing! She then looked under the sink…. “we are out of toilet paper!” seriously?!?!?!?!?! Just my luck!!!!!! Luckly we had a tiny bit left in the other bathroom. After dying of laughter from our adventure, we ran to the store and bought a big thing of toilet paper! Janae and I do not eat before zumba any more, AT ALL!!!!!! We also always make sure we have toilet paper under the sink!

going to the store for the TP!!!!!

So moral of the story… NEVER eat before zumba! But if you do, make sure you have your best friend to do it with you, so you can suffer together! :)

You're A Liberal...

Sorry for not posting yesterday!!!! This week story will be about Richard…

So one day I was gone from the apartment and when I came home Naomi told me some guy name Richard came over asking for me. WHO IS RICHARD?! Later that night Richard came back and he asked for me. So I went to the door and this guy was standing there… he proceeded to tell me he was in my ward at church. I still didn’t know who he was. He then asked me to go on a date with him, we would go to dinner and then to a show on campus. I couldn’t say no, so I said yes.

So a little background on this, before I go on with the date… that day… THAT VERY DAY at devotional (at BYU-I we have devotional every Tuesday), this lady gave a talk and in her talk she told the boys to stop hanging out with girls and GO ASK THEM ON A DATE. Boys, wait at least a day or two after a talk like that! Well, I guess he listened… what a weirdo… any who onto the date.

So he came and picked me up at my house and we went to Gator Jacks … I guess that is one good thing from the date, he introduced me to the best sandwich place EVER! So during dinner he just kept asking me question after question after question after… you guessed it, question. It was like no natural conversation at all! After dinner we went to the school so we could get good seats at the concert. We got there like 45 minutes early. So we were sitting there and he asked me if I would like to color. I said, “what?” because I wasn’t sure if I heard him right… but I did! The next thing I know he pulls out folded paper and a box of crayons from his back pocket… WHO IN THE WORLD KEEPS THAT IN THEIR BACK POCKET?! So I sat there coloring for like 45 minutes… did he think I was like a four year old and I can’t sit patiently? Any way, while I colored, he said something about politics; boys, when you are on a first date, DO NOT bring up politics! lol So we started talking about politics and I said that my dad and brother are really into that stuff. I said that my brother and dad get into it sometimes because my dad is conservative but my brother is even more conservative, he then asked where I was. I said I was conservative but not crazy conservative…. He then tells me, “oh that explains why you like music so much.” I said, “What do you mean by that?” and he says, “You are a liberal because you like music and so free spirited.” WHAT THE!?!?!?!? I am anything but liberal! But I guess he thinks I am! lol

After the concert, which was good by the way, and my picture was freakn awesome that I drew before the show, he drove me home. When he was walking me to my door, he asked, “So, do you want to go on a second date sometime.” In my head I started freaking out! I can’t say no but I don’t want to go on a second date! We couldn’t even carry a conversation, does he really think the date went good?! Here is another tip boys, don't ask the girl for a second date RIGHT after the first... unless you KNOW she wants to go on a second one! So I said, “I don’t know. I have my percussion music I have to practice for the Christmas concert. So I don’t know if I will have time to.” I really had music… but this happened at the end of October pahahahahahaha poor kid! Lol

So at the end of November/beginning of December, he called me to go on another date, Janae was dying laughing because he was asking me again. But I honestly was busy and I told him I couldn’t go… so he asked “how about your roommate Janae? Is it ok if I ask her on a date?” With a sly smile on my face, I said, “Go for it!”
